After the Hatfill debacle, the Justice Department needed a patsy who couldn't fight back. They found one in Dr. Bruce Ivans, whose "apparent suicide" by prescription strength Tylenol allows the government to avoid the potential pitfalls of a criminal trial. Moreover, the case may now be declared closed and the files sealed. End of story.
