Americans are confused by facts and so they very rarely allow them to complicate their decision-making. Yet, every now and then, I think it a good thing to confront this fact-averse people with a little hard reality.
It is a fact that if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, you may be killed in a collision with a drunk driver. Less likely, but also a fact, if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, you may be killed by a bolt of lightning. Less likely still, but no less a fact, you may be killed in a terrorist attack.
For any of those events to come true, you must be in EXACTLY the wrong place at EXACTLY the wrong time.
